Nowadays you can hardly imagine companies without laser printers. Extensive print jobs can be processed with the laser printer using laser exposure and high speeds. Unlike an inkjet printer, the laser printer uses the electrophotographic process to expose the entire page completely and not line by line. Therefore, laser printers are perfectly suited for quickly needed documents and mass printing.
The printing performance of laser printers is enormous. Thus, up to 500 DIN A4 pages can be printed in one minute. The toner used is bonded firmly to the paper, making the prints from a laser printer more resistant to water and sunlight. No ink is used, but rather toner powder, so the laser printer does not have to be in permanent operation.
